Clean Water meets Clean Energy

We set up solar powered water pumps to provide clean spring water to the local communities.

Project Summary:

  • Approximately 3.5 million people globally die from waterborne related diseases each year. This makes it the leading cause of disease and death around the world.

  • The solution to many waterborne diseases is simply proactive prevention through the access to and use of clean water.

  • We are in the process of building 20 water pumps to bring natural water to local residents in Nigerian villages around Okitipupa, Ondo State.

  • The water pumps are solar powered. This environmentally friendly approach brings a key element of reliability in an area where access to electricity is not consistent.

  • The water pumps are managed by local residents trained to understand the systems.
