Health Fair

Good health is the foundation of every thriving community. At the Aduro Foundation, we believe that true healthcare begins long before illness, it begins with prevention.

In April 2025, that belief came to life through the Community Health Fair held at the Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat Health Centre. The event brought together doctors, volunteers, and local health workers in a shared mission: to keep families healthy before disease takes hold.

 

Over 1,000 residents received life-changing care, not just treatments, but knowledge and tools for lasting wellness.

Free Health Screenings
Blood pressure, glucose, and vision tests helped detect early warning signs, preventing small issues from becoming serious crises.

Healthcare Interventions

Health Education Sessions
Interactive sessions on malaria prevention, maternal care, and child nutrition empowered families with practical knowledge to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Wellness Packages
Tailored wellness kits were distributed to pregnant women, elderly residents, and others most in need, providing essential health items and a message of care.

Beyond the fair, the Foundation also rehabilitated the local government clinic, transforming it into a more welcoming and functional healthcare center. This single act expanded access to quality medical care for over 10,000 residents across Okitipupa LGA.
