Aduro Farms is the agricultural arm of the Aduro vision, dedicated to feeding communities, creating jobs, and driving innovation in farming. Since its inception, it has grown from small beginnings into a diversified operation producing poultry, fish, cassava, plantain, pigs, and snails at scale.

Beyond production, Aduro Farms is committed to reducing post-harvest loss through processing and improving food security in our region. We see agriculture not just as a business, but as a powerful tool for community empowerment, skill development, and sustainable growth.

Our achievements speak to this vision: poultry production has expanded from 8,000 to 20,000 birds, catfish output has grown from 20,000 to over 100,000, and our thriving cassava plantation is now ready for harvest. Piggery and snail farming add further diversity to our portfolio, while a 50-acre plantain plantation is underway to meet growing demand.

At Aduro Farms, our piggery is a key part of our mission to diversify food production and strengthen local supply chains. We raise healthy, well-fed pigs in clean, well-managed facilities, ensuring high-quality meat production for the market.

The piggery not only provides a steady source of income but also creates jobs and training opportunities for local workers. By producing pigs locally, we reduce dependence on imported pork, keeping more value within our communities and supporting local economic growth.

Our approach combines excellent animal welfare practices with efficient breeding and feeding systems, ensuring both productivity and sustainability. From farm to market, the piggery reflects our commitment to responsible farming and to meeting the protein needs of a growing population.

At Aduro Farms, women are not just part of the workforce—they are central to our success. From production to processing, management to marketing, women play active roles at every stage of our operations.

Many lead farm units, oversee quality control, and drive innovations that improve efficiency and output. By including women in leadership and technical roles, we are challenging outdated perceptions of farming as a male-dominated field.

We see women as partners in building food security, reducing post-harvest loss, and ensuring the farm’s long-term sustainability. At Aduro Farms, women’s inclusion is not charity—it is smart, strategic, and essential to growing a farm that becomes stronger with every season.
