At the Aduro Foundation, we believe that development must evolve with the times, and that access to digital tools is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity.

To turn that belief into action, the Foundation equipped the Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat with 15 laptops, 5 printers, and high-speed internet, creating a modern infrastructure for smarter, faster, and more transparent governance.

Key Impacts

  • Digital Record-Keeping: Outdated paper files have been replaced with efficient, secure digital systems, making government operations faster and more reliable.
  • Public Service Access: Citizens can now submit applications and track permits online, reducing waiting times and increasing transparency.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Over 45 local government staff have been trained in e-governance and cybersecurity, equipping them with the skills needed to manage and protect digital systems.

Cumulative Reach:

Today, more than 50,000 residents of Okitipupa LGA benefit from a local government that is more connected, responsive, and transparent, one that reflects the promise of a digital future.

This initiative isn’t just about computers and connectivity; it’s about bridging the digital divide and ensuring that even remote communities are not left behind in Nigeria’s technological transformation.

Through innovation and inclusion, the Aduro Foundation is helping bring Ondo State,  and its people confidently into the 21st century.
